When you become a client, or member, you will be authorized to enter or update your own account information and search criteria, among other things.

Content Management
You may have access to our content management systems, in which you may update your web page content any time you like, day or night. While some restrictions apply, this tool is exceptionally valuable for businesses who like to adapt to changing conditions or address daily events. "Rainy day" sales, clearance sales, and special offers are some of the most common uses. No programming skills are required - just your login and password.

Membership News
You will be able to login and receive current information about new features, beta tests and emerging technology from our "Inside Track". We are always developing new and improved methods in e-commerce, web development and marketing techniques designed to make your work easier and position you to accommodating new business as the economy improves. Our members will get first crack at these new tools. In fact, some of our members even become development partners, and enjoy the exclusive benefits of such advances.

Your Marketing Partner
We at Shoreline Internet believe it is better to offer a few clients a wide range of services than it is is to offer a few services to lots of clients. We have always had a quality-first mentality. We'd rather be a valuable resource to good clients than a marginal resource to marginal clients. Our in-person service, our local presence and our local orientation make us an unusually welcome partner, especially in the otherwise impersonal Internet business. Internet is only part of what we do. We also write copy, design and create advertising, author articles and publish corporate marketing collateral. We are equally PC- and MAC-literate, and have ventured into the areas of multimedia, including digital video editing. Among our principals are musicians steeped not only in their craft, but also the technology of their trade - with digital sound studios in their homes. In fact, Shoreline Internet will soon be offering sound services as part of its suite of web development tools.

Multimedia Capabilities
Since our organization is so musically inclined, we naturally hope to present some more of our creative talents for fun and profit. Our higher-end capabilities like background music, video clips, streaming audio, streaming video, audio mail, video mail, virtual tours, GIF animation, flash media and other creative endeavors occupy a lot of our after hours recreational time. As such, we are rather expert in these areas, although we don't at this point have many clients who require these capabilities. The good thing is that we can do them and will be most happy to do them for you - because we love doing them, not because we get the big bucks. Of course big bucks are always welcome, but we hardly expect you to pay us Madison Avenue rates for things that don't even seem like work to us. It wouldn't be fair.

Traditional Media
Some of us are freelance writers, tech pubs contractors and ne'er-do-well Journalists for Hire. We have been known to interview clients, write the stories, take the pictures, lay out the publication, produce the match prints, cut the films, manage the printing, scoring, folding and packing, and deliver a glossy, 5-color corporate communications piece to the client's doorstep. We have also been known to print the labels, stuff the envelopes and mail the pieces out. All with minimal intervention from our busy customer, who has other priorities. While these pieces are in the mail, we update the clients website with all the new content from the publication, and cut it over live the day the mailers hit (and not before). Coordinated marketing efforts like this we used to do all the time when we managed such processes for big companies. Now we can do them for you - economically and effectively.

Consulting
We dig beneath the surface when we work for you, naturally performing the functions that consultants get big bucks to do. We know. We used to be those people. But things are different now. Our families and your families are our priorities now. We don't get the big bucks any more, and we don't miss them one bit. When you have a business situation you'd like us to analyze or advise you about, we're happy to oblige. We may even charge a modest fee to create your marketing or business plan, or help you get ISO 9000 certified. But that isn't our main business. We've been there, done that. For our clients, though, we'll do it again - within reason.

Ethics
All we can say is that we will never use your information for any purpose other than that for which you intended when you hired us. If you have any reason to doubt our ethics or feel that we are in any way straining your trust, you have every right to sue us to the ends of the earth. We aren't worried, because we will know we will never be guilty. You see, we aren't motivated by money the way most companies are. We value friendship, trust and personal relationships far more. And so, with the understanding that your trust is more valuable than anything to us, let us proceed together as partners, allies and friends. The principals of Shoreline Internet are parents of children of all ages. In our business that's an advantage, since they teach us something new about the Net (and tomorrow's web market) almost every day. We don't author or publish anything we wouldn't want our teenagers to see on the net. So if you're in a questionable industry, we suggest you find yourself a questionable web partner.
